Neither the 3.6.17 or 4.0 version of Firefox is bringing up a window.

Up until the other day, Firefox 3.6.17 was working fine, when it just stopped bringing up a new window.

I downloaded Firefox 4, and same thing, no window. Restarted my computer, and was able to get one, but I’m now having the same problem again

Any idea what’s going on?

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Started FF in safe mode, and I got a window. Went to Add-ons>Themes, and got a message saying that all add-ons had been disabled. The Default Theme was highlighted, but I wasn't able to click on the Use Theme Enable button.
