Youtube is super slow since yesterday with the new update. It was completely fine two days ago. Is there any fix?

Other browsers seem to be working fine, so it's not an issue with Youtube. Videos that previously loaded in fractions of a second, and previews that played instantly, all now take several seconds to, sometimes 10+ seconds to load. Even page elements take forever to load. The only difference from two days ago, is that Firefox got a new update, as far as I can tell. So what happened? Is there a fix?
