Why did my screen suddenly go blank while I was looking for weather information on Weatherunderground.com?
This problem has never happened before. This happened in the last few minutes. The whole screen suddenly went blank while I was trying to find out today's weather. I am suspicious of malicious interference with my computer. Any help you can give me will be reassuring.

Hi,
Do you actually mean the whole screen, or did you see the taskbar, Firefox UI etc.?
As I recall from a few days ago, it was not the whole screen, because I was attempting to correct the problem by moving my curser, without any response from my computer. I should say that I am elderly, and not very computer-savvy.
