Issue Summary: My website (mass-doc.com) displays blank thumbnails in Firefox's New Tab "Recent Activity" section, while other websites (Claude.ai, Ahrefs, FamilySearch, Fox News, Xfinity) display their OG images correctly in the same section. Environment: Extensions Installed: uBlock Origin, FireShot (both tested disabled with no change)

Evidence That OG Images Are Correctly Configured:

Google Search Console "Insights" section correctly displays my OG images Social media preview tools show images correctly Images load directly when URL is accessed in browser Image specifications meet requirements: 1200×675 pixels, 132KB file size, JPEG format

Example OG Meta Tags (verified correct):

Here is the rest of my question. (was cut off I guess...?)

html<meta property="og:url" content="https://www.mass-doc.com/massachusetts-naturalization-records.htm"> <meta property="og:type" content="website"> <meta property="og:title" content="Massachusetts Naturalization Records | Immigration Guide"> <meta property="og:site_name" content="Massachusetts Document Retrieval"> <meta property="og:description" content="Research Massachusetts naturalization and immigration records..."> <meta property="og:image" content="https://www.mass-doc.com/images/imagined-immigrant-naturalization-ceremony-1920s-Boston-optimized.jpg"> <meta property="og:image:width" content="1200"> <meta property="og:image:height" content="675">

Troubleshooting Steps Completed (All Unsuccessful):

Ruled out uBlock Origin: Disabled extension completely, checked uBlock logger for blocked requests — none found related to my images Verified Enhanced Tracking Protection: Checked shield icon and Protections Dashboard — no blocking of my site Added OG image dimension meta tags: Added og:image:width and og:image:height — no change Attempted to clear thumbnail cache: Profile folder does not contain a "thumbnails" folder to delete Verified about:config settings (all correct):

browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.feeds.section.highlights = true browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.section.highlights.includeVisited = true browser.pagethumbnails.capturing_disabled = does not exist (correct — capturing enabled) browser.cache.disk.enable = true

Cleared browser cache: Settings > Clear Data > Temporary cached files and pages > Everything — no change Restarted Firefox multiple times after each troubleshooting step

Changed DNS servers: Based on advice that Cloudflare might be interfering, I changed my DNS configuration entirely. This resulted in 24 hours of site downtime and did not resolve the issue. Tested on multiple pages: Updated 5+ pages on my site with proper OG tags — all show blank thumbnails

Observed Behavior:

New Tab > Recent Activity shows my site's title and URL correctly Thumbnail area is completely blank/gray Other websites visited in the same session display their thumbnails correctly Issue persists across browser restarts and cache clears

Questions for Firefox Team:

Does Firefox's Recent Activity section pull images from OG meta tags, browser screenshots, or both? Is there a specific requirement my site is not meeting that other sites are? Are there known issues with certain server configurations, CDNs, or hosting environments that prevent thumbnail generation? Is there a way to view Firefox's thumbnail generation logs or errors?
