Can you reach for that modem there? And restart it?

Can you restart that device? What kind of device is it?

What is the situation here ?🎅 Do you work in France? Or are you traveling? Can i ask?

What do you see on that device? What is happening when you connect to that device and startup thunderbird? Can you describe the complete situation in text? I do mean write down all situations that did arise then. You should use troubleshoot modes for a minute there. To see if some add ons just interferes that software thunderbird.

Try to use these steps i typed inn here below To follow up these settings it should solve some of the broken connection.


1.Verify Internet Connection and Server Status

Try to access thunderbird via the browsers that are used on that device.

Check for that browser status it can be slowing since you are using it.

2. Check and Correct Thunderbird Account Settings

Account Settings > Server Settings > Verify the settings with your email provider's required settings:>

Server Name: Ensure the incoming mail server address is correct. Port: The standard POP port is usually Connection Security: Make sure you have the correct security method selected matching your provider's requirements. Authentication Method: Verify the required authentication method User Name: Confirm that your username is correct.

3. Review Authentication and Passwords

Incorrect passwords Go to Tools > Options > Security > Passwords > Saved Passwords. Find the entry for your POP server and remove the saved password. Restart Thunderbird and enter the correct password when prompted.

For app passwords : you do generate a new passwords / with two factor key s.

4. Check Firewall and Antivirus Interference

Temporary check firewalls and disable anti virus software and the firewalls. Restart thunderbird.. If this works , then create some accepting in that security software thats running there for thunderbird and these firewalls.
