When I try Netflix it says I need the latest version of Firefox to continue. This is new. I haven't had this warning previously.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to the Firefox Support Forum. I understand that you're experiencing an issue with Netflix, where it is asking you to have the latest version of Firefox to continue streaming. This seems to be a new issue for you.

To resolve this, I would suggest the following steps:

Check your current version of Firefox: Please open Firefox and go to the menu (three horizontal lines in the upper-right corner) and select "Help" and then "About Firefox." It will display the version of Firefox you currently have installed.

Update Firefox: If you have an older version, it's recommended to update to the latest version of Firefox. You can do this by visiting the official Mozilla Firefox website (https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/) and downloading the latest version compatible with your operating system (in your case, Windows 10).

Install the latest version: Once the download is complete, run the installation file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the latest version of Firefox on your Windows 10 system.

Clear browser cache and cookies: After updating Firefox, it's a good idea to clear your browser cache and cookies. This can help resolve any compatibility issues with websites like Netflix. To do this, go to the menu, select "Options" (or "Preferences" on macOS), then go to the "Privacy & Security" tab, and under the "Cookies and Site Data" section, click on "Clear Data." Make sure to select both cache and cookies options and click "Clear."

Test Netflix again: Once you have updated Firefox and cleared your browser cache and cookies, try accessing Netflix again to see if the issue persists. It should no longer prompt you to have the latest version of Firefox.

If the problem continues, please let me know and provide any additional details or error messages you encounter. I'll be happy to assist you further.

Best regards, Suram Firefox Support Volunteer
