I've had a problem where things I 'haven't copied are being copied and pasted. Sometimes pasted in the correct place. For instance, I review my password manager to view a date, return to a webpage and start typing the date I viewed and it is automatically pasted into the date field while I'm typing the date!!! How, if at all is this possible?

You have failed to show that this is a Firefox issue. More information please.

The question should be; does firefox have the ability to copy and paste without the user physically copy and pasting in the conventional way i.e. highlight text (ctrl C), go to new location and paste (ctrl v)?

Thank you

Gotcha... good luck.

Hey @jonzn4SUSE do know the answer to the question?

No, that sounds like an accessibility function that I don't see on this page. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/accessibility-features-firefox Someone closer to Dev may chime in with a better answer.

You want something like this in the browser? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fC__rAuvVhI

Firefox has support for a middle-click paste feature.

  • about:config => middlemouse.paste
