probably not. It's a security feature . I'm new here so take what i say with a grain, but hopefully I'm wrong and someone recommends the fix but i wouldn't hold my breathe. Sorry.

easy things you could try might be to ensure Picture in Picture is enabled from the Android side of the app settings. Sometimes on my oldest device (2xl) I'm able to persist memory state beyond what's allowed by trickery or luck... i find firefox and web pages more friendly when they think I'm using a tablet and or using second screen...
