Its the stupid new blob tabs to be more specific - I mean Why?

I wouldn't revert to 88 because of security concerns. To disable the new UI go to about:config and set "browser.proton.enabled" to false. Though be warned that this option will soon be removed

Why would they disable the option? Now I won't upgrade in fear of the Proton mess...
