I have been using Firefox for years. I recently decided to tinker around a little with private browsing. I had my laptop and phone sync'd. Within the last 10 days or so I have been restricted to only accessing my bank using private browsing. I have been online with my bank to try and resolve, to no avail. I have added exceptions for all the cookies, pop up windows etc for my bank and still nothing. I have disabled the syncing and still nothing. My bank said they have had some communications issues with Firefox...I tried to login with Chrome and sailed right into my bank account. I really don't want to have to use another browser to access my bank.

Below is the error I get. Please help!! its truly a hassle to HAVE to use private browsing for 1 item.

Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://signon.navyfederal.org/siteminderagent/forms/nfcu.fcc" on this server.

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.

Try turning off your content/ad blocking extensions which can sometimes break website functionality.

Extension add-ons, by default, aren't enabled in Private Browsing Mode, that may be why the website works normally when there's no blocking involved.

There is security software like Avast, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connection certificates and send their own.

Thank you all for the help you offered. While I didn't try your suggestions, I did run across a reset back to default settings. I got to keep my passwords and my bookmarks and everything set back to default. Whatever was the problem this solved the issue. Once again I do appreciate the time you spent to help me!
