Crash after using FUS (Fast User Switch)
A recent upgrade introduced a regression for me: FF crashes as soon as I use FUS to switch to another user account or even to the login screen.
This is on Mac OS X 10.9.5 (old but stable and I need to stick to it until further notice), I have an external screen which is also the main screen (has the menubar).
I haven't yet figured out how to get access to the stack backtraces (before or after submitting) but it looks like FF is trying to access some resource that gets invalidated when FUS triggers. It's the only application I've ever seen that cannot survive a FUS trip...
Can anyone reproduce this?

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Options/Preferences -> General: Performance
remove checkmark: [ ] "Use recommended performance settings"
remove checkmark: [ ] "Use hardware acceleration when available" - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/performance-settings
Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting for changes to take effect.
You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
I'll try to see what Intel has to say about new drivers for an older Mac OS version; I don't think there were ever system drivers that didn't come as part of an OS upgrade.
BTW, this is a MPB 8.1 from mid 2011, with a 2.7Ghz i7 and its embedded HD3000 GPU.
If turning off hardware acceleration does solve the problem but makes browsing noticeably slower I'll probably roll back to the latest version from before the regression that I can find in my TimeMachine backups. Would be a pity though, one reason I switched to FF was its continued support for OS X 10.9 ...
I'll get the report numbers when I get back to my Mac.

Note that the 1st, most recent one is for a possibly related issue: drop-down style dialog sheets remaining blank and FF getting stuck in a deadloop or endless wait with the telltale rainbow wheel of death.
