After the 52.1.1 upgrade I am not able to create new events or tasks. Am able to add people to event but cannot populate any details about the event or task.

Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled".

If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.

The events have been moved to tab supported vs dialog box - I am not sure if it is suppose to support both - but I went to tools - options - calendar - general tab -- event and task section -- then check the box next too - edit events and tasks in a tab instead of in a dialog box.

This allowed me to work around that New Event Creation Issue...
