I use a screen reader now thunderbird no longer reads any lists as in message lists or anything. basically without meaning too mozilla broke accessibility

I use jaws for windows from freedom scientiic I use jaws seventeen because i can't afford to update to eighteen. Well today i updated thunderbird and notic3ed jaws no longer spoke my inbox listview. so i went to the options advanced tab to the config thing to see if it would read that l,ist view it didn't it also didn't read the security options it read the tab below or above it but not the security tab which i found odd and when writting emails it didn't read my signature i had typed its like tb fporgot i even did it. any ideas on what i can do on the major accessibility glitch there are no jaws scripts this time. I don't know what to use for email and such now. accept my phone but i need something for my computer so recommendations are welcome until this problem is fixed.

I've come across another person mentioning this issue with JAWS. This is not a Thunderbird issue. It is down to JAWS needing to work with Thunderbird. I found this info: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1355457

Suggest you try the 'threaded' view.

A friend has JAWS 17 and I installed Thunderbird for her. It worked fine (last week) and was compatible with her screen reader. Then she got an update a few days ago, and now JAWS won't read the list of emails when she scrolls up and down. Has any solution to this been found yet? Updating JAWS is not an option. Her version of Thunderbird is 52.4.0.

Is there a way to roll back updates? Maybe that would restore the function.
