Thunderbird updated to beta last week, contacts sidebar disappeared . No 'contacts sidebar' option in 'view' . F9 key does not work. Tried to install 'contacts sidebar add-on', it came up as 'not compatible' Please help!

Can you post your Troubleshooting Information? At the top right of the Thunderbird window, click the menu button , then select Help, and then Troubleshooting Information.
