Script error

more options

Please help me. I am running the latest Internet Download Manager and have scanned my PC for rootkits, malware and viruses with many different sources and found 0 infections.

I am getting this exact error.........

"A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Script: file:///C:/Users/A6/AppData/Roaming/IDM/idmmzcc5/components/idmhelper5.js:91"

this locks up my PC for several minutes and eventually lets me click stop script, but it returns again over and over.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled fully both Firefox and IDM twice but no cure.

I have also changed dom.max_script_run_time to 20 as the firefox support page said to do, but it does nothing to improve it.

IDM support only says to install the latest version but I of course reinstalled the latest firefox and IDM both times to no avail.

Something is then wrong with that addon, contact the developers of the program so they can release a update, for now use another program (like Downthemall on addons.mozilla.org) or disable IDM.

I have been in constant contact with them and they are no help. I wish I could move on but I paid $25 for the program.

Or maybe it's a Flash player issue?

If you haven't already, go ahead and disable the plugin's protected mode. See this support article from Adobe under the heading "Last Resort": Adobe Forums: How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?

Note that on 64-bit Windows, Firefox uses the 32-bit plugin, so this the folder where you create or edit the mms.cfg file:

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash
