In FF 14 what program/plugin plays flv in the ff window

When a browser window has a flash file to play it opens the area on the window but never plays the file What program/plugin do I have to ahve installed to play it I have adobe flash player 11 installed but I cannot get to it in the tools/applications app to set it as the default for flv files

There are some compatibility issues between the latest Flash player and some Firefox add-ons or settings. Could you see whether anything in this article helps: Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox.
