Spinning Rainbow Wheel show too often

I recently upgrade to Firefox 7.0.1 my iMac 3.06Ghz IC2D OS X 10.6.8. It seems to me that this new Firefox has small problem to manage the memory. Very regularly (every few minutes) meanwhile am on the web (I particularly noticed it on Facebook.com), the Spinning Rainbow Wheel appear for few second blocking the navigation.
