First I removed from Control Panel, but FF wouldn't remove it, so I found this thread and followed the steps of boxkid351's reply, but you also need to go to Extensions (when following these steps here, but after Add-ons) and there you can remove or disable ChatVibes toolbar! Now it works for me! :D Thnx

Hello Guys,

I had faced this similar problem so I uninstalled the 'Add ons' in IE and Mozilla. But still the search.chatvibes.com/ was opening for every new tab. Now this made me think that it could be related to the system registry. I searched the IE registry settings and nailed it.

So try the below steps to fix this problem:

1. Type Regedit in Run to open the System Registry 2. Navigate to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AboutURLs] 3. Check there for 'Tabs' and you will find this culprit registry value 4. Delete that value and your CHATVIBES PROBLEM will be RESOLVED.

Cheers, Vinoth
