I had to reinstall the program, I can now receive emails, but I can't send them, my ISP support indicates that I need to have the "requires server authorization" option active, I can't see that option (Google translator)

- click 'account settings' - scroll down left side to 'Outgoing servers (SMTP) and click - here is where you set it, usually a combination of Authentication Method (such as normal password) and Connection Security (such as STARTTLS).

my first guess is that you need to put entire email address there for user id. Try that first and let us know.

The webpage at https://tutoriallhelp.weebly.com/configuraccediloes-email-pop-smtp.html indicates that the smtp server should be mail.netvisao.pt, not smtp.netvisao.pt. That's all I know. Please keep us informed. I also noticed that this email provider may prefer user id as you originally had it, without domain name. I suggest trying both ways.
