Firefox cycles through tabs when holding Ctrl

more options

I am using Firefox 84.0.2 (64-bit) on Ubuntu, and I have been getting this weird behavior that works for couple of minutes where when I press the left Ctrl button, Firefox cycle through tabs quickly. It's really annoying behavior and I do not know where I can switch it off.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hmm, Ctrl+Tab should cycle through tabs, but Ctrl by itself should not. ??!!

It is possible that some status keys have the wrong state and Firefox sees them as still pressed.

Try to press all the status keys (Shift, Ctrl, Alt) a few times to see if that helps to recover from this. If it doesn't help then close and restart Firefox or reboot the computer.

Try the Firefox version from the official Mozilla server if you currently use a version from the repositories of your Linux distribution.

Yeah this is what I thought, but I am getting a weird behavior by pressing Ctrl by itself and I do not have any key stuck.

Also, this behavior comes and goes and I do not know what exactly that cause it.
