Since today (i suppose there has been some automatic firefox update), firefox won't start my crashed sessions.

there are more and more of them since the last 2 weeks, even with 1 tab opened after few minutes it starts consuming 100% of my cpu (on my lenovo yoga 900 - Intel Core i7 2.50 Ghz, 8GB DDR3, SSD) and spawns around 20 process consuming 2,7 GB of ram.

after it becomes unusable, the gui window freezes. i am using Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS, on i3 (i will test it on other wm's soon).

i will try firefox developer edition now, since i can't develope an browse on firefox anymore :((

PS: I had to write this a second time, since it froze even within the 5 minutes of reporting this...

PPS: i started firefox in safe mode - nothing changed. already 2gb of ram in use.
