Macbook crashed; got a new HD, and now I can't find the bookmark (etc) backup on my external backup drive for restore.

Searching for the backup .json file on my external backup drive for restore but it doesn't seem to be there.

The Firefox profile folder is usually in this location

  • /Users/<user>/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/<profile>/

In Mac OS X v10.7 and later, the ~/Library folder is a hidden folder.

Searched that hidden Library file already and no luck... no profile or .json
