I recently visited a casino and stayed overnight. I could not access some adult sites, but had no problem with email etc. I currently have the latest Firefox updates and tried everything I know. Would the casino be able to block any adult web sites on their wifi?

Can anyone tell me, please, how long I should be able to keep accessing Firefox on a Windows 10 tablet after Microsoft withdraws support for Windows 10 later this year? I seem to remember being able to access the internet on an old laptop as a 'test' a year or two after I'd stopped using it after Microsoft stopped supporting whatever version of Windows was on it, but I can't remember whether it was via Firefox or Internet Explorer or some other Microsoft browser. If Firefox will still 'work' will Microsoft withdrawing support for Windows 10 have any effect on how well it 'works', and/or how secure etc it will be? I am going to try to install some sort of Linux on the tablet (well) before Microsoft abandons Windows, but if it turns out I can't install Linux, I'm hoping I should at least be able to access the internet via Firefox. Thanks to anyone who can help. (ps I'm not sure whether this is the right place to post this question, it's just that performance and connectivity seemed to me [in my ignorance] to be most appropriate!)

Since the last update (as of the 8th of April 2025) on the android version of the app, the browser seems unable to play videos in the picture in picture feature. The screen will get minimized, yes, but wherein before the minimization was the video still playing in small, now it is like a chopped version of the webpage. Posted a screen recording vid on tumblr to exemplify because screenshots alone don't do it justice. PiP Issue demonstrated

I have a laptop ( screen 1) connected to an external monitor screen 2) and extending the desktop. Firefox is running on the external monitor and a site I use has frequent pop up windows with tick boxes to select. With Chrome & Edge I can get the Popup window to open on the external monitor where the browser is running, but with Firefox the pop up window always opens on the Laptop screen. Is there a setting to get the pop up window to open on the same screen that Firefox is open on?

I have removed Firefox and installed fresh the latest version 137.0.1 to address the issue of not being able to start a new tab or a new window. I am writing this from the initial window that opens when Firefox is launched. If I try to open a new tab it will hang with the blue circle displaying. If I click anywhere on the window if will grey out the background and display the error message :

Firefox is not responding

if you close the program, you might lose information

-> Close the program -> Wait for the program to respond

Tried waiting and it never comes back. Only option is to close the program. After that there is a message that is reporting the issue to Microsoft.

When I open a new tab I get several shortcut icons including one to search my email for "Netflix". I don't want that. I just want my inbox. How do I edit this so it goes to my gmail inbox and does not search my inbox for "Netflix"?

I am now getting a spinning wheel with annoying frequency while using/trying to use Thunderbird on my MacBook Air 2017 running Monterey. Everything was fine for the first 6-9 months, but over recent months the spinning wheel has appeared more and more frequently while I'm trying to read mail, answer mail, scroll through messages, etc., etc. Now it comes up every few minutes and delays me doing anything for about 15-30 seconds at a time. It's really frustrating. I recently ran Onyx, which was designed to clear cache, etc and make everything run smoothly. But the only program it required me to quit before it started was Thunderbird. Is there some cache or something I need to clear on a (semi-) regular basis to keep it working at a reasonable speed without this godforsaken spinning wheel interrupting everything? Hi, following a recent update installation I have not been able to log onto BT Webmail to deal with my emails etc, it seems to go into a kind of loop and keeps showing a log in page quickly, then it disappears and reappears straight away again, does anyone have any idea why this is happening, I have checked the version and it's 137.0.1

I've been having an issue with picture-in-picture (PiP) mode where the subtitles and rewind/fast-forward buttons (rr/ff) won't follow the video into the small player for Disney+ specifically. I have no issues with YouTube or any other site. The subtitles and rr/ff just stay with the original video player on the site while the video is in PiP mode. I can see the subtitle button on the PiP player, but it is grayed out and I can't click it. I've updated both Firefox and my computer (Windows 11) and reinstalled Firefox, cleared cookies and cache, and still no dice. Any advice? Thanks!

(In the screenshot, the PiP player isn't showing video, but I think that's just because of Disney's anti-piracy software - I can see the video in the PiP player on my screen.)

I'm experiencing performance issues when loading webpages on Firefox on my Pixel A phone. I usually keep only one tab open and run uBlock Origin. I mainly visit sites like Best Buy and Amazon, but honestly, all webpages take forever to load.

Could this be due to the 8GB of RAM on the Pixel A series? On my Samsung S24 Ultra, I rarely run into these issues.

I love Firefox and will continue to support it, but this is really heartbreaking. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Firefox has stopped obeying target="_blank"

Started a month or so ago.

Take a look at Firefox target="_blank" problem for details.

There is not a topic in the dropdown list that remotely addresses this issue so I just selected Performance and Connectivity for the hell of it.

I've appreciated using Firefox as my laptop browser for several years. However, now I've been getting full page pop-up advertisements that are beyond annoying since they appear in the middle of my logging on to sites. It is very worrying to see another screen pop up in between my entering a user name and a password. I have to wonder who is seeing my personal information? How do I stop these pop-ups besides choosing another browser? Thanks. Andrew Zacharias

iMac crashed while firefox was open. I've reinstalled firefox, deleted the caches and history, deleted user data.

Launched firefox to what seems to be a clean version (had to sign in, also not bookmarks showing.

Launch is quick. However, websites, such as google.com will not open. No error message, just little dots at the top of the tab going back and forth, then nothing.

Other browsers are able to open websites (I'm using Chrome to access this).

I accidentally deleted my Holiday Calendar in Thunderbird 128.9.1 esr and cannot figure out how to get it back - if possible. Is there a way to get it back? I just installed a new PC with win 11 Pro and had not had a chance to formally backup my Thunderbird profile.
