I have a substantial number of email that are successfully recognized and moved to the Junk folder. However, a few arrive with the spam flame column set that remain in the inbox. But for some reason the Junk button in the header pane is greyed out. If I clear the spam column, the Junk button is enabled. Shouldn't the Junk button work when the spam column is enabled?

Also, I want to determine if the mail server has moved a message to junk or Thunderbird has done it. I can think of not starting Thunderbird and checking web mail status and see what's in the junk folder. Is that the only way?

Hi,

By chance I observed that some mails don't show up in the search results of global search. In my example these seams to be some mails from the send folder.

I already re-created the index and downloaded all mails again, without success. I clound't identify what is different to these mails.

Any sugestions?

I have an email on several computers: office@company-aaa.com. Configuration via IMAP but TAG synchronization does not work for me. The first TAG works for me: Important (red color, shortcut button with key no. 1). But the rest do not synchronize. Generally, I use about 20 tags, but one more tag also synchronizes but incorrectly, (the third with the ninth on another computer).

I looked through the prefs.js file, but I do not see any connections or reasons why it does not work. How to manage this so that all Tags work? Please help, it will make my daily work in the team much easier. Regards. Grzegorz

On the "Organize your messages with filters" page, it describes how to create a filter, but doesn't describe what can be entered into the "value" field. Simple text strings are shown. Are the entries restricted to text strings, or are there special characters? Can hexadecimal values be entered?

The reason I'm asking is that I am receiving many emails where the "From:" address ends with ".za.-com". I haven't been able to get a filter to recognize that. Is the "-" (hyphen) a special or prohibited character? Is there a means of recognizing that string at the end of an email address?
