I hope to add the feature of opening local HTML files to Firefox Android version. Firefox used to support this feature in the past, but it was removed after the release of Firefox Daylight, which was restructured. Firefox supports opening PDF files, but it does not support opening HTML files, although opening HTML files is closer to the browser's function than opening PDF files.

Everytime I try to open MediaFire it's just a blank page, I've refreshed the page repeatedly but it didn't work, I also tried with other links, but it also didn't work, I kept seeing the blank page over and over again.

I read the strings of comments regarding about:config not working and presenting a blank page. I have the same issue. I have been a Firefox user for decades, preferring Firefox over all other browsers. However, without the ability to customize Firefox we, the loyal, may be forced to use another browser. Also, no customization is only contribution to other browser's owners/developers efforts to eliminate Firefox. Is there a solution to fixing current version or Firefox, about:config in development or already available?

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra running latest Android update and latest Firefox update. I set Firefox as my default browser. I have un-installed all updates for Samsung Internet and removed all permissions for it. Disabling it is greyed out. Some apps that I use have links to websites. Too frequently, when I go to one of those links, the intro screen for Samsung Internet opens. Then, when I look at the settings in Firefox it is no longer set as the default. Then I set Firefox to default and go to my phone settings to see that Firefox is selected as the default. If I open the previously mentioned app and choose the web link, Firefox will open. But somewhere along the way, the default changes back to Samsung Internet and it's a vicious circle. I have posted in a Samsung forum but haven't gotten a reply that solved the problem. Please help. I recently updated to Firefox 130 on my Windows 11 laptop, but my Android 14 device still shows version 129.0.2. When I check "What's New in Firefox" from the Android app, it displays version 130 in the webpage it opens up. Is there a known issue with updating to version 130 on Android, or is it being rolled out in phases? Please advise.

I need to reach the about:config menu but firefox takes me to a search menu on the engine I chose (duckduckgo). It provides lots of nice info but not how to reach this feature.

I am using Chrome OS so possibly that is the issue.

I am getting an "access denied" when I try to use online banking. The bank said it may be an extension issue. They suggest I use another search engine such as Edge or Chrome. Both offer too much "bloatware" for me.

I really would like to find a way to continue using Firefox.

I uninstalled the app and re installed it after that there is no icon on the app drawer nor in the home screen. I have to open the app every time through play store. I have attempted to fix it myself by uninstalling and re installing to thinking its temporary a glitch but icon stills doesn't appear anywhere. It doesn't even get shown in app drawer search results when i search for Firefox. I have further cleared device cache using builtin cleaner app provided within the device. Also restarted my device nothing worked
