Hello, I just upgraded from a Samsung s24 to an s26. I downloaded the Firefox app and signed in. I went into settings and tried to type in a custom homepage like I was able to on my s24. I can't find where to be able to type in a homepage to use. For example use www.yahoo.com as my home page. I've tried to Google and watch YouTube videos to find the solution but I can't find it. Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you

Issue Report: Inconsistent Privacy Controls and Missing Time Range for Data Deletion on Android

Dear Firefox Support Team, I am writing to report a significant issue regarding the user experience and privacy management in the Firefox Android app. The Problem: There is a major inconsistency in how browsing data is handled compared to the desktop version. Currently: The History menu allows me to delete entries for a specific time range (e.g., "Last hour"), but this fails to clear associated cookies or site data, leaving my session traces active. The Settings > Delete browsing data menu provides the necessary options to clear cookies and cache, but it lacks any time range selection. It only allows for a "Delete All" approach. The Impact: This creates a problematic loop for users who value their privacy. If I want to wipe my traces for just the last hour, I am forced to delete my entire browser history and cookies, which logs me out of every single service I use. This lack of granular control is a step back from the privacy standards Firefox usually maintains. Requested Resolution: I request that you treat this as a functional gap and implement a "Time Range" picker (Last hour, Last 24 hours, etc.) within the "Delete browsing data" settings, similar to the desktop implementation. This would ensure that mobile users can manage their privacy without the "all-or-nothing" penalty currently in place. Thank you for your attention to this matter and for your ongoing commitment to user privacy.

Very recently upgraded Firefox for Android from 147.0.4 to 148.0.1; I knew a bit about upcoming changes of menu system (but we also got fancy rounded corners ...).

But this is in part utter rubbish.

I know it has been possible to move the address field from top to bottom, and that that might work better with the new menu, but even if closer to fingers holding the phone it will anyhow be so low and in a corner that you can't reach it without risk dropping the mobile. And this, the new menu, isn't even my main issue. With the menu at the top, and the old menu system, you at least continued to work in the same area, once you had opened the menu.

The amount of "clicks" is pretty much the same, though; 2 for bookmarks (if you don't simply type part of the address), pretty much the same for add-ons (several use white-listing for scripts, such as NoScript, and often have to adjust these, so those settings are quite frequently used).

But, the main issue is something related to "gestures", swiping down a web page seems to invoke some add-on setting, in my case NoScript. That is, strict vertical swipes works most of the time as before (and "most of" is pretty much a disaster), if I swipe slightly diagonal (exaggerated in image), I get an icon for NoScript (scripts not enabled for page in example), and the further I swipe the bigger the icon. It goes away if I lift finger, but if I move into the icon, it can invoke NoScript's settings.

Is this the intended behaviour? And above all, scrolling down should work 100 % of the time.

Hi,

I am trying to make the jump away from Chrome to Firefox across all the platforms I use. I am a long term user of NordPass for password management and I love the Firefox/Nordpass extension in Windows 11. Firefox for Android, while not as slick as Edge or Chrome on this platform, I have been recently using it as my default browser. However, I could not find the Nordpass extension for Firfox Android.

A quick search took me here: Cannot find Nordpass to download as addon it was asked 3 years ago with "This add-on is currently unavailable in Firefox for Android but may be included in a future update."

Are there plans yet to implement a NordPass extension for the Android platform?

Thanks

On some websites Firefox blocks entry of texts in text fields manifested in 2 ways: keyboard in Android pops but no text is entered when typing, or no keyboard pops. The tried refreshing pages, switching to desktop mode, clearing browsing data nothing works. Attempting to report this to a site:https://ambientweather.net. Ultimately I had to download and install a different browser to access the site. I was already logged into the site and other field changes were correctly implemented. On pages with 2 search fields, one site-wide and one in my search context, both fields failed When switching to desktop version, I noticed a typical cookie notice which I hoped was taking the focus away from the other fields but closing that notice did not resolve the problem.

While I assume a design implementation error by sites, this may be related to the ongoing memory conflicts one experiences when doing multiple searches on heavy video sites. As with the old Firefox Android, Firefox slows down and can't seem to dump all it's cache, apparently, to handle more input. in those cases a dump of most browsing data generally clears the problem, but didn't help here. I suspect an underlying Firefox cause because I've seen this over several random sites but with no clear pattern. I just revisited the site above and it works as designed now.

Consider this the equivalent to trying to use a PC without a keyboard, it's really a catastrophic fail.

I have an issue in that, upon pressing the three-dot menu button on mobile, the browser menu is suddenly popping up from the bottom of the screen instead of sliding in from the side like it's supposed to, as well as what used to be a nice and neat list of options now being a cluster of hard-to-make-out icons and buttons. I didn't change anything in the settings to make it do this (I very specifically selected the "top" display option when I first downloaded Firefox months ago and haven't touched it since), and I've already checked reddit to see if anyone else is having this problem and if so, how to return my menu's behavior and appearance to normal (no luck).

I unfortunately have no images of what my menu is supposed to look like as it never occurred to me something like this could happen, but I can at least provide a screenshot of the ugly way it looks now (notice the little bar at the top of it that suggests I'd be able to "drag" it back to its correct placement? Yeah, it doesn't do anything, no matter how long I hold my finger on it.) PLEASE tell me what can be done to undo this awful change and return my menu to normal!
