Not sure if this question should be directed to the Mozilla dev team or 1Password dev team. Who is in charge of implementing the integration of the 1Password extension? It currently doesn't provide same functionality as when implemented in most other common browsers (Chrome, Safari).

This is not a huge issue but it is irksome. Why do the all the bookmarks in the toolbar justify left? Also, there are no UI options in the settings to change the justification. Most browsers center all the bookmarks in the toolbars. Surely this wouldn't be too hard to change, would it?

Sirs. We cannot download the ¨Clear Browsing Data by Armin Sebastian.¨ It is a Firefox Recommended Add-On. We are getting error messages. One common one is... ¨...Firefox cannot modify the needed file.¨ I am also unable to download the Official ProtonVPN extension as well, with the Error being...¨Firefox prevented this site from asking you to download software on this computer.¨

I run normal firefox on linux. Fully up-to-date. Every time I quit the app, it reverts to a version of my profile from a month ago, and loads all the tabs I had open then, and then receives all the tabs that I sent to the device in the interim (~1 month). As I speak, it just caught the 60 or 70 tabs in this window.

I tried changing the name of my profile folder to randomstring.defaultOLD and changed one of the backups to randomstring.default. This didn't change the behavior. I'm still stuck in the loop. I saved my tabs with onetab, because firefox isn't remembering my session anymore. I thought it was something to do with updates, like it only loses its mind upon updates, but that's not true. It thinks it's updating firefox EVERY TIME, because the one time it's loading to 1 month ago it was updating, but I'm 100% sure there are no updates to firefox in my linux. It's just hallucinating.

The articles on restoring from backup are outdated. They say to use an html file. There is no html file. It's just folders for profiles, not html files. HELP!

Previously all my tabs would launch when I opened Firefox. Recently it has stopped doing so. Only one tab opens. All the other tabs I use frequently do not open. Why is this? How do I have all my tabs open when I open Firefox

after the new version of firefox update my home page which i have always had Newsmax.com does not load says problem loading page i have tried several times and it will not load. it works in Google chrome so why not in Firefox

Using Mozilla as my browser, I print from my Lenovo laptop to my HP Office Jet 8025e printer. The headers and footers have disappeared. The "print Header/Footer" is checked in the printer settings, but they do NOT print. This change has occurred during the last couple of weeks, perhaps as the result of an update. It seems that checking or unchecking that box makes no difference now. Same result regards...no Headers or Footers. Please advise.

I have webpage (Home Assistant instance) on my local network on which I would like to use microphone (for Assistant functionality). Page is completely local, i.e. not visible from Internet. My issue is I can't force Firefox to allow microphone access on this page. I've tried messing with media.devices.insecure.enabled config, but it didn't help. Is there any way to add such page to some whitelist to allow microphone access? From what I gathered Chromium-based browser provides "--unsafely-treat-insecure-origin-as-secure=..." option but I didn't find anything similar for Firefox. I know I could expose my server to outside network and get SSL certificate (from Lets Encrypt) to make it work, but exposing server to Internet just to get local microphone access somehow doesn't feel like a more secure solution. I could probably also issue self-singed certificate but dealing with that also seems at least annoying.

Hello, For about two or three days now, when I launch Firefox and try to open any website, it takes maybe one minute to load the page, then the navigation is OK on every website.

It only happens when I launch Firefox for the first time of my session. If I close it then relaunch it, it's still very swift.

I tried clear cache and remove cookies, just lost my logins lol but didn't work. I also tried with no extensions, nothing changed. Lastly I tried to set "network.captive-portal-service.enabled" to "false" in "about:config" but it didn't change anything neither.

So before I try anything else that could erase something on my profile, I'd rather ask here for some help :)

PS: running FF 153.0.4 on Debian Trixie with Mozilla repos. Only have two extensions: µblockOrigin and NoScript.

For whatever reason when on the front page of YouTube, this magenta border will flash on and off around the top header as well as the button elements, I have no idea if this is Firefox or yt, but I've tried everything, on YouTube, I've tried fixing it in troubleshooting, code, accessibility, restarting browser and computer, randomly removing extensions. Nothing is stopping it. It briefly tried doing it on a different site but stopped on it's own, it's only effecting YouTube and Firefox

I've tried several times with different updates to use the AI-enhanced tab groups, and it has never given me actual useful suggestions of group names. It always shows me the most generic of names and chooses almost randomly what tabs to group. This is a thing that AI should be good for, but it looks like it's unaware of what is the content of my opened tabs.

Is this feature improving or I can disable it and stop it from consuming my CPU?

I'm not a tech savvy user. Although I am using a personal network could Mozilla be interfering with the link of my Linux computer to the HP printer? Any suggestions on how to remedy this?

Recently I had to install a new windows, and I signed in to my Firefox account and found all the data from the previous windows including the open tabs, I could find them from "Tabs from other devices".

But now can't find them any more, although that device name is still there in my account page, under " connected services", please advise.

Title says it all, "auto resize pictures using CTRL - + does not work". Generally speaking, the size of pictures simply WILL NOT reduce in size to view its entirety. Even when the scroll-bars are used the picture is still to wide. I have searched and asked for any setting in about_config, NOTHING! I truly expected something. The ONLY STUPID WAY to view said oversize picture is Download it then view. Isn't that a HACKERS DREAM??? YES I HAVE tried looking in SETTINGS and searched for months, found nothing that actually works. So now I have to use that 4-LETTER word... HELP!

I would like to know whether this is a normal process that happens when using firefox browser or has my version of the app been compromised? Or should I allow this to be accessed?

Hi, I'm having this problem on 2 PCs and I'm not sure what in the world is going on. It's not only this browser but I'm trying to get Firefox sorted.

When on sites like Walmart or Costco I'll be scrolling down, click on something, hit 'back'...and then it won't return me to where I left off.

I'm really at wits end. I don't know if I have viruses on both causing aberrant behavior.

If the internet were in it's infancy last century, this would be understandable...or again maybe I have two compromised machines. I'm on the Malwarebytes forum doing all kinds of things to no avail. Defender and Malwarebytes don't find anything.

Thanks if anyone can provide some help. I'm starting to consider a dastardly ipad at this point...

HI All Recently purchased a laptop and want to have FF sync with my desk top. I am signed in to both devices with the same account and have checked all settings on both and they are identical. Why are they not syncing?
