Yesterday, I lost most of my bookmarks in several Bookmarks folders. These are critical to my work with several non-profit organizations. All efforts to follow Mozilla's troubleshooting advice and use the Manage Bookmarks functions to restore or import backups in my Profiles folders are met with the "Unable to process the backup file." message. I have a number of backups available, any of which could potentially resolve this issue, but nothing I have tried is working. Please help! Thanks, Shack

when i restarted firefox as requested, bookmarks displayed across top of screen were gone. the suggested fix was no help. Said cause was a FF file was in use. It implies i have Win10. I have Win11. **************

the theme i chose for firefox ("clear") is no longer here when i quit and reopen the next day - then it's "eye friendly" (brand new mac / tahoe) - i probably do something wrong but dont know what… thank you if you may help

ich stelle bei vielen Seiten im Internet fest, daß mit Firefox die Texte nicht richtig dargestellt werden, als ob Übersetzungsfehler vorlägen. Wenn ich zum Vergleich die gleiche Seite im zweiten Monitor paralell auf MS Edge aufrufe erscheint der Text dort richtig dargestellt. Zur Verdeutlichung meines Problems habe ich zwei Screenshots angehängt. Sie erkennen oben eine fehlerfreie Darstellung und unten die gleiche Internet-Seite - zum gleichen Zeitpunkt - mit dem Mozolla Browser.

Was muß ich an welcher Stelle in den Einstellungen von Firefox V146.0.1 für 64 bit auf Windows 11 ändern, damit ich weiterhin bei Euch bleiben kann? Für Eure Unterstützung im Voraus herzlichen Dank. Gruß aus Deutschland/Bayern/Augsburg

A few days ago (December 17th or so), Firefox just up and stopped loading altogether. I’m trying everything I can find, but to no avail. The internet itself is working fine. This is the message I’m getting (see attached).

I’m getting desperate, I can only do so much on my phone!

I updated Firefox for my laptop this afternoon and another Firefox window opened and I had 2 windows. I closed the original window. I tried to restore my tabs and bookmarks in the new window. My Recently Closed Tabs and Recently Closed Windows are greyed out in the "hamburger"menu. I have tried everything; trying to restore from my profiles folder on my laptop, trying about:session and at this point I am Totally lost and frustrated. I am asking for help :-) please to have what I had before. Thank you

Since the update of Dec. 9, many of my longtime accounts do not recognize me, and I don't currently have workarounds. I also keep getting nasty messages that I'm in mortal danger because I've lost contact with iCloud. I have a son-in-law and grandchildren with extensive computer expertise who will visiting during the holidays, but during the holidays, but I would much prefer to be partying with them than holding computer repair clinics.

Are there any measures that a complete amateur can take to solve the worst of this Gordian knot?

Recently, websites (e.g., YouTube) have stopped keeping me logged in. I've already checked all the security and privacy settings, but haven't found anything that seems to be causing this.

I hope someone can help me. It's really annoying having to log in to all the websites every day.

Hello, I encountered an issue today where, upon starting my PC and opening Firefox, I found that I had been logged out of every website. My bookmarks, browsing history, and extensions are all still present, and I am using my usual profile. However, all active login sessions were cleared. I haven't changed any privacy settings recently, and I'm wondering if this is a known issue following a recent update or if it indicates a corruption in my profile's cookie storage. Could you please advise if this is a "normal" occurrence or if there are steps I should take to prevent this from happening again?

What is the problem that isn't allowing my emails to load? It was fine until today. My hotmail email (outlook live) is what I use as my home page. Seems to connect, but just blank space where messages usually appear.

My old computer quit working. It had Windows 10 I purchased a new computer form Best Buy. They were unable to retrieve My bookmarks as I had left the 13 digit code to retrieve them. I am home now and have the code but do not know how to use it to retrieve the bookmarks. How do I proceed?
