I read a few posts and it is all gobbledy gook. Can someone answer y/n to the following is their a SIMPLE way to unblock Free-Sudoku.com which I have been using for years? Is there a simple way to turn off all the security stuff so I don't have to waste hours trying to find a solution? Is there a simple way to ask a question to get a meaningful answer without all the flak that means nothing to an average user? Does anyone at Firefox care about the average guy trying use his browser without unnecessary security lockdowns? If anyone can answer yes to these questions, perhaps you can give me a dumbed down version of the simplified questions. I just want to play sudoku from free-sudoku.com all I get is a lock with a bar through it. on the U'RL box. It just started 3 days ago after years of non-interference. When I click on the lock I don't have an unblock button in the popup. Why does firefox just put one there instead of just an arcane hours long wild goose chase to look for non-solutions. Yeah, I am frustrated over unilateral browser lockdowns.

Hi, Suddenly today I am having an issue(s) with ebay. When I go to add something to my cart I get a brief pop up that I am unable to interact with before it disappears. I reset and cleared everything and attempted to relogin to ebay. The password field suddenly would show. I insured all the plugins were disabled and I disabled the tracking protection.

Only after I rebooted into troubleshooting mode could I get the password field and afterward I was able to add an item to my cart. I tried adding a different item into my cart after turning off the troubleshooting mode and once again an item with not add to my cart.

Hi, Since few weeks ago, firefox never restores my previous tabs/session (I lost a year worth of tabs..), no matter what/how I tried, it keeps starting with a clean session, not even the history in there. I tried: Deleting profile, creating a new one Resetting Firefox Fully delete FF and delete the profile folder Heck, I even used librewolf, and even FF on linux and also Librewolf, same issue!!

I notice this happen once I enable the sync (login to my account), there's no setting in my account says to never restore the session or something similar.

How to solve it?! I need to have the tabs open again..

I don't understand why I get 14 firefox apps showing up on my Task Manager when I open my firefox browser?

This is very strange and would like some one to explain why this is happening!

Hello, I'm looking to stopping **ALL** website Pop Up Notifications--NOT just selected ones. I've already gone to Privacy & Security-->Notificatications. This is feature is totally pointless. This feature assumes you repeadily go to the same singular site that causes pop ups --not random site you visit. I did check off the button at the bottom "Block new requests asking to allow notifications." My issue is NOT, NOT seeking to block "permissions" (I have never seen or been asked by Firefox to 'allow permission for website notifications')--I'm seeking to stop ALL website pop ups notifications that intrusively just appear at the lower right corner. I don't understand why there isn't a single button to stop these intrusive and annoying pop up pushes??? It's a no brainer. I hope you can help with a solution. Thank you in advanced.

Using Ebay, I can simply no longer view "sold/completed" items (not talking about my own items). I've been using Ebay and Firefox for many years. Just recently it does not allow me to see the sold items. On my wife's computer (right along side mine) hers works. I contacted Ebay, they say the problem is not on their side. I tried using another browser and it does work correctly. - I do not want to switch from Firefox as my main browser. I even uninstalled Firefox and re-installed it but got the same result. I've got a set of core bookmark folders set up. When I'm in a window with all tabs open in that folder, how can I update the tabs without manually having to go to each one that is new? It would seem a horrible task to have to compare which tabs are already saved in the folder, to whichever new ones I've added! Thank you!

I am trying to find answers in relation to my Favourites shorcuts not showing the Icon for some well known websites e.g BBC World News, CNN. Once answer found on the Firefox Forum is: Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.

This is just typical of many answers I find on the Firefox forums whereby the suggested solutions seem to bear no resemblance to my Firefox system. Am I using something different? Everything points to me having the latest up to date version of Firefox. For example if I click on the four horizontal line hamburger on top right of the screen I do not see anything that begins with "Tools" in the menu options. I see "Settings" and "More Tools" but none lead to "Options>Content: Fonts & Colors> Advanced: [X]. simarly, If I click on "Tools" in the menu at the top of the Browser nothing leads to "Options". Any suggestions please?

I've tried EVERYTHING I can think of to fix this issue. When 'trying' to open a YouTube video in Firefox, I'm 'informed' that I'm offline - try reconnecting (or something like that). I'm NOT offline. Three other browsers have NO problem opening these YouTube videos; it's only Firefox. Can someone PLEASE come up with a REAL resolve to this issue? Hello, I can't find a tutorial on how to permanently disable automatic updating in Firefox. The latest updates no longer allow the user to disable updates, which is a shame given that Firefox, an alternative to improve browsing, is better rated than Chrome. But now there's this update that gets in the way. If I want an update, I do it manually. But I can't disable it, it always keeps downloading something periodically.

PLEASE RETURN THE OPTION TO DISABLE UPDATES FOREVER.

I saw a message that my Add-ons were disabled, and when I checked the Add-ons Manager , each of my many Add-ons had a message similar to: "1Password – Password Manager could not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled. "

Some searches in the forums suggest that that this can be caused my a certificate at Mozilla expiring, I seem to be the only one with this issue at the moment. All of my Add-ons came through the Mozilla store .

I am using version 123.0.1 (64-bit) on OpenSUSE Leap 15.5, and as far as I can see all of my updates are current (and from the official sources.)

What should I do next? I expect I need to wait for a certificate update or something at Mozilla, but if/when that happens how do I verify it did and re-enable my add-ons?

Hello there. I'm used to pressing Super(Win key) + Grave(`) to type "`" because the Grave key itself is a global shortcut for opening the terminal window. It works as expected in the other applications, but not in Firefox input fields. If the site is capturing the key presses, it will handle the super + key as usual. For example, GitHub will surround the selected word with ` symbols on grave key press. This problem is not limited to super + grave, but any other letter. For example, Super + q is expected to produce the letter "q", but in Firefox it produces nothing.

I'm trying to identify why the Super + key behavior in Firefox is different from other systems and if I should open a bug or not. Maybe this is the same bug as https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1626609. Thunderbird has the same problem.
