Greetings all, my trusty Firefox stopped working. Error Code PR_Connect_reset_error. Other browsers work fine. I have windows 10 with the latest updates and use Kaspersky Internet Security 21.3.10.391 (m). I have paused Kaspersky, uninstalled then reinstalled Firefox 3 times. I have cleared all Firefox cookies and caches a number of times. On my 2nd Firefox reinstallation Firefox worked ok for a couple of times then stopped again with the same error code. Please note that I am not very familiar with computer stuff so any suggestions need baby steps. Many thanks.

I recently upgraded FF on this computer and can no longer sign in to my att.net email account, although I was able to sign in on another computer on FF earlier today. I just get an error message and Att can't help...is there a setting that has me locked out? I can also access email on other browsers just not the FF version on this computer.

I use FF on desktop. Recently, I've run into a problem. My desktop browser will not load any pages... except Youtube. Youtube loads just fine, I can open a video or browse channels or community pages normally. I have fully reset my browser, reinstalled it, and disabled extensions. Other browsers on my PC will work normally. I have very few extensions: Sponsorblock for Youtube, uBlock Origin, and Facebook Container, that's it. I am not using a proxy or VPN. Troubleshoot mode did not fix the issue. I'm not the most tech savvy, so I apologize if I missed anything here.

WHEN I SIGN INTO MY OUTLOOK ACCOUNT, FIREFOX IS BLOCKING MY CONNECTION. IT WILL NOT CONNECT TO SECURESERVER.NET. I CANNOT ACCESS MY E-MAILS IN FIREFOX CURRENTLY. PLEASE HELP! ALL THE TECH PEOPLE SAID IT IS THE BROWSER????

I AM HAVING THE PROBLEM ON THE OTHER COMPUTER. I THINK THIS PC IS O.K.

Within the last week, my homepage has changed in look and operation. It no longer has all of my bookmarks, I can no longer navigate back to my homepage from other sites, etc. Also, it have a very plain, sterile display. What changed and how to I get back to my original homepage?

The icons on my home page suddenly became significantly reduced in size. Sure, I can tell what they are, and I've increased the text size for their identifiers below the icons. But they are now so small as to be not pleasing to the eye. How can I put them back the way they wuz?

I have Firefox version 136.0.2. I think it was quite recently updated. The right click menu is broken. The choice list is much longer, and the choices "open link in new tab" and "copy link" (ones I tried) do not work. This only started happening this morning. Right click works fine in Chrome. I understand that as from 14th March 2025 I will need to update Firefox. I am currently running 102.0 and have sucessfully prevented Firefox from updating to later versions. I did this to prevent the updates positioning the tabs in the wrong place. Please can you tell me if the CSS script that I use to put them back into their correct position, i.e. below the Bookmarks Toolbar, will still work.

Also, will newer versions allow the user to choose where the tabs are positioned? It was possible to do this in earlier versions and the choice is also available in other browsers.

I have also managed to stop Windows 10 updating for several years too, Microsoft kept altering my laptop in unacceptable ways.

Using 2025-04 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5055612) Firefox 138.0.1 (64-bit) and says it is up todate. I have looked at the about:config to find the browser.tabs.remote.autostart but it does not exist in the list of processes. I have AdBlocker running as an add on and turned off the duck duck go privacy essentials and still nothing stops these insane amount of processes clogging up my computer. right now, on this page there is only this tab open and there are 13 processes running. Please send real fix instructions- thank you

I used the CSS animation property called animation-timeline , which is written as:

element{ animation-time: view(); }

When I view the webpage on Chrome, Edge, Opera, and even on Phoenix browser, the animation works.

It is only on Firefox that the animation does not work. I even added the Vendor-prefix of " -moz-animation-timeline " to the CSS property, and it still didn't work on Firefox, while it is working on all other browsers.

The CAN I USE website ( https://caniuse.com/?search=animation-timeline ) tells me that Firefox does not support it at all.

It however said that I can enable it, by setting "layout.css.scroll-driven-animations.enabled" to true.

1.) I don't know what that means.

2.) Would my website's users be able to see the animation on their Firefox browser, if we assume that I make this setting ?

3.) I am using Firefox version 138.0.3 (64-bit) : What can I do to see that both I and users of my website are able to see this animation on Firefox ?

I have Firefox on two Windows computers and was wondering what is the proper way to sync them.

One computer is not used often and I want to sync Firefox on it it with the Firefox on the computer I use daily so I want the Firefox that does not have the updated files updated using the Firefox data files on the computer I use daily and not the other way around. So what is the correct procedure to do this other than to make sure the Firefox program version is updated on the computer that is not used often?
