The old version of Thunderbird had four panes: Files on the left,; Sender and Subject on the upper right; and messages in the lower right quadrant. That is what I expect to see under the "classic" view. The new version is cumbersome to say the least. I actually have to open the email to see what it's about. The old version was working fine until my computer crashed and I was upgraded to NTFS windows. I've been a fan of Thunderbird for decades, but am being forced to look for alternatives.

How can I change the order of my email accounts? I need to be able to move 1 or more accounts from the bottom of the list to the top of the list. I have Thunderbird 128.6.0

Recently many sites have (for reasons I cannot fathom) introduced a pre-login form: ie a form that requires a username to be entered before an password text box is provided. This seems to be a trend and it is incredibly annoying.

The issue I have is that FF does not recognise the page/form as a login page and therefore does not provide a list of usernames for the domain in question.

Any advice or help would be very much appreciated.

I am a Cacti developer and we are considering switching from FontAwesome Web Fonts to Tabler Web Fonts. However, on Firefox for Windows only, we are having a major slowdown when using the Tabler SVG based webfonts. The page load is first stalled by Firefox apparently loading all the Web Fonts, which would appear normal with any browser (though exceedingly slow on Firefox for some reason).

However, once the page is loaded, when going off tab to another browser tab, and then back to the Firefox tab that includes the Tabler webfonts, there is a 3 second delay before the tab switches. When we enable the performance analyzer, we find that the delay is almost 100% Reflow of the page, even though the page is static as this point (no changes) from the last time it was activated.

We do not have this issue on Firefox for Linux, MS Edge or any other Chromium browser, only Firefox on Windows. I'm using the latest version 134. Should I be opening a bug?

few days ago, i was trying to remove unimportant entries from the browsing history section. i discovered that my delete button wasn't working and no entry was being deleted, not even when i was trying to remove using the mouse right side button. at first, i thought the delete button of the keyboard has become faulty. but i found that it was working fine in other apps or parts of the Windows OS. so i tried again removing the entries but couldn't do it. then i closed the firefox browser and reopened it. to my horror, i found that all entries before November in the firefox history section have just disappeared. nothing is there. i felt very much shocked and sad because there were lots of important entries which i have stored for almost two years. now i don't know how to restore my lost history entries. just because of some errors in the firefox program, i have lost my long saved entries. please suggest me how to restore it.

I can sign into my startmail account on the startmail web site with no problem. However, I cannot access the startmail account via the Thunderbird client using the same password. I get a message saying "Login to server imap.startmail.com with username rhman44@startmail.com failed." Does anyone in the community have any suggestions? Thanks

Over the last few weeks, it feels like this browser is doing updates almost every day on my pc and laptop. After done updating i lose all my cookies, logging me out of all my accounts, dark modes and settings. This is my final attempt before swapping browsers.

As stated above, as of Jan 13th, the date of the last update, I can no longer download any email from the Yahoo/AT&T server. My Gmail email downloads like before the update. Did anything change to influence my AT&T account? I have no issues with accessing the email online, or my phone, so the AT&T email account still works the same everywhere but in Thunderbird.

I added Gmail account to Thunderbird on my Desktop and the number of emails is different on thunderbird and on Gmail. On Gmail there are 5666 emails in the Inbox but on Thunderbird the Inbox shows 10319. Is there a way to configure to display the emails as they are displayed on gmail? I'm moving the emails from one account to another and I don't want the client to be shocked when he sees 10319 instead of 5666. the discrepancy is too big.

The email server associated with internet server will be closing down soon. Also, I am not a fan of Google and gmail.

What email server would you recommend. My main concern is security.

My Tiscali emails to my son on Yahoo are not delivered. and I think this has happened on other email providers. This has only happened in the past month. I keep seeing references to DKIM but cannot find out how to add this to my outgoing emails.. I have added it for my incoming emails. It seems this is happening to many people as seen on Forums. Bonjour, J'ai effacé par erreur un dossier et ses sous-dossiers directement dans ma messagerie Orange. J'ai ensuite installé Thunderbird qui voit ces dossiers dans la poubelle mais ils restent désespérément vides des mails qu'ils contenaient. Est-il possible de les récupérer malgré tout svp ?

I have a small problem. When I click MENU and Bookmarks, I can't access my synced bookmarks from my PC computer. But when I edit one bookmark, I see all folders from my PC to put in. Normally I can't see all my folders with bookmarks from my PC.

Hello! For some time now I suddenly have no sound in Firfox, otherwise the sound works everywhere, even in other browsers. All help instructions do not help. Do I have to switch to another browser for good? Thanks for help

Recently when sending e-mails some are received ok, others not received and some gone into the receivers Spam folder. I cannot understand why, my settings are obviousy right. My provider is Tiscali. Until recently everything was alright. James

The messages in 2 of my Gmail email accounts have completely disappeared! Gone with no trace. How do I get them back? On Jan 1st, the first email Inbox messages disappeared and the next day the emails in another email Inbox were gove. I spent time yesterday reading ideas on how to fix this and trying every one, but no luck. Messages that had been moved into sub-folders and Sent messages are all still there. I use those 2 email addresses to operate an online business and really need the messages back as soon as possible.

The problem is only with Gmail Inboxes. I have other email addresses from Yahoo or individual domains and all of those accounts look fine.
