When a reminder comes up on mine. There is a blank spot where I would think it would give what the reminder was.. So this box comes up with the reminder, the heading is there but underneath where i would think exactly what the reminder was about, is a blank area. Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere or something? thanks I can't do a screen shot that would help if the reminder hasn't come up

I see the new AI chatbox feature buried within Firefox Labs. Is there not a way through a policies.json to disable that feature if it's unwanted? If there isn't, when would that be added (and hopefully before this feature becomes live in a future release)?

How do I make Firefox remember each time when I launched a new browsing session in iOS? It won't stay full screen/maximum window. Looked thru settings in Firefox and it's not there.

I get what looks like a DoS attack every day at 7:43. It disables my PC for about 10 minutes. I have traced it a Mozilla task using the task scheduler. The scheduler provides the following information:

The Background Update task checks for updates to Firefox when Firefox is not running. This task is installed automatically by Firefox, and is reinstalled when Firefox runs. To disable this task, update the browser settings or the Firefox enterprise policy setting “BackgroundAppUpdate”.

I have gone into settings but can't find the BackgroundAppUpdate setting to see if disabling this task will solve the problem. Any idea where it is?

im trying to reach a site that is HTTP only and when i enter the address it jumps to HTTPS and then the site says unavailable. ive changed the settings and it still keeps doing the same thing

I'm trying to switch firefox dev edition to english

There is no dev-edition version in dnf, snap or flatpack, so i simply installed it by hands (from src i guess). But browser is not in english and i don't know how to switch it back. Everything i found related to "lang" is translations and "preferred language to display pages", there is no "browser lang" or smth

I have been reading some old questions on TB forums 0n how to speed up TB. Being old posts can you tell me if these options are now currently advised to be shut off in 2024? Should I turn on or off the setting for "Enable Global Search and Indexer" Should I turn off "windows indexing for the profile folders"?. If so, not sure how to do that. Should I disable the use of the option to "allow windows to search your mail"- if so where is this setting? How to reduce the number of FILES in the TB profile or just ignore this mounting calculation each time I make changes or compress? Thank you.

Hi! I bought a second MacBook, but cannot find any accurate instructions for adding it as one of my devices.

On the MacBook, I get the QR code page, but nowhere in the phone is the supposed "Sync" page to scan that code. I literally looked in every single area that I could. These are the instructions:

Sync Firefox on your phone or tablet 1. Open Firefox on your mobile device. 2. Go to the menu ( on iOS or on Android) and tap Sync and save data 3. Tap Ready to Scan and hold your phone over this code

There is "Sync now," but that is only syncing to the old laptop.

I logged out and back in on the new MacBook, and now it shows in Firefox on it and my iPhone (Connected Services), but now the old MacBook is no longer in the device list on either the new one or the phone.

It would be so much easier to just have an obvious "Add a device" button.
