MacOs Tahoe 26.5.2 & Firefox no longer work together nicely

Ever since upgrading to Tahoe 26.5.2 I've had issues with the way the screen and some forms work: * some buttons/ icons don't appear * some buttons appear but don't work (no response when you click on them) * oddities like if you select the edge of a window the cursore ocon stays as an arrow rather than changing to a resize icon. * the overall screen appearance is white making some information hard to read I suspect this is more to do with the Tahoe upgrade than Firefox - e.g. the 'liquid windows' mean some folders change appearance; sometimes being transparent therefore you can't see them anymore. Anyone else experiencing odd/frustrating behaviour since Tahoe upgrade? Seems another case of too many 'clever' features with no value make the software too complex and fragile.
