A few weeks ago, a problem occurred for the first time. Each time I now open Thunderbird it downloads all 6,500 message headers in my in-box. It takes only a few seconds but it tiresome. I have searched for a solution online and several people had previously suggested removing a certain file from within the application. However, I couldn't find the file anywhere. I am afraid I have forgotten the name of the file that was mentioned. I recently installed OWL (paid) software and this might have something to do with it but I cannot see an obvious way of removing OWL to check what happens afterwards.
