Error message with webmail - can't attach message when trying to send

I'm getting an error message when trying to send webmail........"There was an error attaching . Please check if you have access to the file."
What can I do?

Please explain what you're doing in more detail. Webmail has got nothing to do with Thunderbird. As the name suggests you do access your mail with a web browser.

Quite simply I'm trying to send an email and the error message quoted previously occurs...why? I don't know....none of my settings have been changed.
