Hello, I am experiencing an annoying layout issue with the New Tab page in Firefox. The spacing between my Top Sites icons is way too large, making the grid look unnaturally stretched out and leaving too much empty space on the screen.Here is the weird behavior I noticed:When I run Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode (Safe Mode), the layout looks perfectly fine, tight, and compact — exactly how it used to be.If I use the "Refresh Firefox" feature, the compact layout returns to normal in the regular mode, but only temporarily.As soon as I launch Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode again and then switch back to the normal profile, the layout breaks once more, and the huge gaps between the shortcuts reappear. (the white bar is the safe mode)

I have a few extensions in Firefox but if I click on the extensions button in the toolbar it now takes me to a Personalize Firefox page where, if I click on Extensions, it only gives me the option of turning them off or on and not to activate or access them. For instance, one extension is Volume Booster which cannot be adjusted on this page. How can I get back to being able to actually using these add-ons?

I had this trouble after Firefox's previous update, where the browser would just close as I was in a tab. It had stopped so I thought the problem was fixed. However, it just updated the browser a few days ago and again I'm having a problem where the browser will just close in the middle of me entering information. It does not have to do with which program I am in as it just seems to happen randomly. It does not save any information I've typed in.

I would like to ask for clarification regarding the distribution of Firefox through third-party packaging methods.

As I understand it, Mozilla's trademarks and branding are protected, and in some cases official permission may be required to distribute Firefox under the Firefox name and branding.

Within the Ubuntu Touch community, there is a method called "Crackle" that can repackage existing applications and make them available as installable "Clickable" packages on the platform. One of the applications that has been repackaged in this way is Firefox.

However, this Firefox package is currently not available in the Ubuntu Touch software store because there is concern that distributing it may require explicit permission from Mozilla.

My question is therefore:

Does a project or community need Mozilla's permission to distribute a repackaged version of Firefox through a software store? If so, what would be the correct process for obtaining such permission? Alternatively, if the software is merely being repackaged to provide an installation method on another platform, without modifying Firefox itself, is additional permission still required?

We would appreciate any clarification regarding Mozilla's policies on redistribution, repackaging, and trademark usage in this context.

I have cleared my cache but I still cannot access the open pages from the task bar. Some are trying to load but don't. They also don't shut down at once when I press the x command. Some pages are working OK.

Have used Firefox for years. Today, went to standard sites (eg weather info, local blog site) and get told they aren't secure and can't be loaded. Have tried re-installing Firefox, clearing cookies but no change. No problem with same sites from Chrome. Message is:

Looks like there’s a problem with this site

bold text So I get the latest update to Firefox this morning, open a new tab, and all the tiles I had arraigned the way I wanted them no longer in that order, some are missing, some are duplicated 2-3 times. Why can't you guys quit with the window dressing BS and just make the browser stable. Why do we need to hunt for functions that were the same for many years that you decided needed to be changed? I remember when 'Settings' was on the new tab window instead of on the drop down menu in the tool bar.

My new tab tiles are a mess and I don't think I'll ever forgive you for that!

Hello, I noticed google rolled out new icons for its workspace. However I use these workspace apps frequently and leave them on my bookmarks bar. For some reason however the docs, slides, and sheets logos respectively have defaulted their icons back to the original google drive icon. making it impossible to tell which is which from a glance. Sorry to bother y'all!

I am seeking assistance with recovering my Firefox data after resetting my laptop.

Before performing the reset, I verified that I was signed into my Firefox account and believed that Firefox Sync was enabled. After reinstalling Firefox and signing back into the same account, my previous data does not appear to be available.

I've DONE the following already- and it still doesn't work: If you're using Firefox In the Firefox menu bar, select the hamburger icon in the upper-right corner, and then select Settings.

Select Privacy & Security in the left panel.

Under Permissions, find Device apps and services, and select Settings.

In the settings window, use the dropdown menu next to the https://www.adobe.com to change permissions, and then select Save Changes.

Find Local network access under Permissions, and select Settings.

Use the dropdown menu next to https://www.adobe.com to change permissions, and then select Save Changes.

System Windows 11 - Firefox 151.0.3 All normal actions from mouse right click have disappeared eg open link in new tab or private window, copy, paste etc etc. The Settings General - Tabs has not changed and previously worked rt click ok. Any help to restore the rt click function will be appreciated.

Greetings and Good evening Windows was reset on 03/06/2026 due to problem. Option chosen was removal of Apps only No data was removed When Mozila was opened on 03/06/2026,It had all data since 2021. It was already registered with -removed-@gmail.com. Still history and bookmarks from 2021 were not restored. On 02/06/2026,0ne drive back up was also initiated. Please guide me as how to restore this.

When the VPN is turned On it acts like a dead switch and locks All bookmark toolbar links as well as Search entries stays locked and will not activate? makes FIREFOX dead in the water. (using Brave Search engine) Any advice?
