My email storage server has a limited space allocation. Because I keep most emails for future reference/recall, I have been moving important emails to specific folders I have created in LOCAL FOLDERS. The LOCAL FOLDERS resides in a local drive in my main desktop computer.

Lately I switched from POP to IMAP so I will be able to access my emails on my phone, remote desktop at home & on my notebook when I travel.

Because of limited storage space allocation, only the main basic folders (inbox, drafts, sent, junk, trash, etc........) reside on the server & appear on all my connected devices (phone, remote desktop & notebook).

When I am on the main work desktop, everything works flawlessly. I have access to whatever information I need. However, when I am on the other devices, all I see are the basic folders that reside on the server.

Could you suggest a creative way I could take the LOCAL FOLDERS along with me when I am outside the office? I was thinking of mounting the LOCAL FOLDER in the cloud, if that is possible. I will be the only one accessing it (single user) so colliding versions should not be an issue. I was thinking of copying the files on to an external drive then restoring to whichever device I use but the problem with this workaround is syncing back to the main machine.....a lot of extra work & steps.

Today I am not able to send emails on my phone. Even a simple test msg is met with an alert and an email in the outbox. I have restarted the phone, and also cleared Thunderbird app cache and forced stop. I still get it. I sent emails last night no problem. I am able to send emails using domain webmail and desktop Thunderbird application. This is only on mobile android version 14. Thunderbird 11.1

Some incoming emails (eg from theatres) contain images - suddenly these images have stopped appearing. How can I get back to them appearing? This has only just started happening, and as far as I know I haven't changed any settings. Steve

I am really really distraught right now. It took me two weeks to get the time and focus to write a long reply to a company's nice email to me. Stayed up till 2am to write it. Deliberately wanted to re-read it in the morning before sending. Gone. Nowhere to be found. I pressed "Save to draft" before closing my laptop. But not saved. This account actually has a "draft" folder, unlike most of my other accounts in Thunderbird, which I also cannot figure out and no one has helped me with.

When trying to add my outlook.com email account to Thunderbird 143.0.1, using the instructions at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-and-exchange, I get an "Exchange auth error." I'm able to add the account manually using imap, but I want to use Exchange so I can access my outlook.com calendar and contact when TB is updated to include them.

Hello Mail Merge used to work.

But now I get an Error: "NotFoundError - Node was not found".

It's a linux system, everything up to date.

Any ideas?

Can you help me find out what i need to do, or if this is a scam?

Hello. I accidentally made multiple copies of one folder and some of its nested folders. I can't move them back because the copy was already found in the main file. How do I remove the duplicates?

I clicked on something wrong and now I have a new "trash" folder as a subfolder under the "sent" folder. I cannot delete it and all my trash goes into it. The old one is still where it is supposed to be and stays empty. How can I delete the new one and send all my trash to the old one where it belongs?

I have no idea what I clicked on that created this problem.

For months I have been working around a problem with Original HTYML message displays in my inbox. I have to revert to message body as Simple HTML for it to be readable. Please see the screenshot.
