[Solved] Unable to start Firefox after 6.02 update

I have just upgraded Firefox from 6.0 to 6.02 and now I cannot get it to start. The upgrade appeared to go alright but when I tried to restart Firefox I would get nothing. I usually solve this problem by locating Firefox in the task manager and ending it or restarting the laptop - neither solution helped. I uninstalled Firefox and then re-downloaded a new install file but again had the same issue. I uninstalled Firefox again and also manually deleted the folder C:\XXX\program files\firefox. I downloaded a fresh file and re-installed now I get the error -

"Error: Platform version 6.0 si not compatible with 

            minversion>=6.02
            maxversion<=6.02"

As a mater of interest I couldn't upgrade 6.0 to 6.01 either.

Running: Win7 home prem 32bit Zonealarm Extreme

Any help much appreciated.

Found a solution to my issue. See-

and look under the heading "Firefox does not start after updating with ZoneAlarm ForceField enabled"
