I have been very happy since installing Firefox as my search engine. Yahoo has hijacked this, and when searching my laptop, it does not seem to exist, but all the searches are headed with a yahoo tab. How do I resolve this problem? Regards Barry

Firefox is a web browser and not a search engine as a search engine is for example duckduckgo.com, bing.com, google.com, yahoo.com etc.

The desktop Firefox web browser for Windows, macOS, Linux has not come with any Yahoo search engine as one of the defaults in any locale since Firefox 57.0 release and on.

So perhaps this was added by an extension you have installed or updated recently for example.
