Feature Request Calendar Year View

I would like a view by Year option in the Thunderbird Calendar. Since Microsoft Calendar tries to launch Outlook and setup a new email address when you try to use just the Calendar it has become not useful to someone who does not use Outlook. You can get the Calendar app to launch into the Calendar on the 4th try but it's inconsistent and a pain. I was trying to check a date/month by displaying the Year view with the 12 small monthly calendars like the Microsoft Calendar has and found you cannot do this. I'd prefer it as a feature rather than a plug-in. Thanks

There is link on the Thunderbird help menu for feedback and ideas, just as there is a link to this site. As this is a peer support forum and not really monitored by the development community. It is not the place to make any suggestions for change.
