I would like to increase the size of icons in Thunderbird. This includes the star icon, attach icon, back and forward icon in the built-in browser, filter icon, etc...

Increasing the font size doesn't see to change this.

The attachment and star icons in Table View can be sized with userChrome.css: 

:is(.attachmentcol-column img, .attachment-icon) {
  width: 18px !important;
  height: 18px !important;
}

:is(.flaggedcol-column img, .flag-icon) {
  width: 20px !important;
  height: 20px !important;
}


Help/Troubleshooting Info, Profile Folder, Open Folder, close TB, create a new folder named chrome, create a new document in chrome with a text editor, name it userChrome.css, Save as type: All files *.*, copy in the above code, change the numbers as desired. Double-click toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets to true in Settings/General/Config. editor, restart TB.
