Security exception added long ago, and still appears to be valid, but unable to access. Tried deleting and adding exception again, but option is not available. Any thoughts?

When Thunderbird is not running: Press and hold down the Shift key while starting Thunderbird to open it in safe mode. When Thunderbird is running: Click on the Help menu from the top of the Thunderbird window and then select Restart with Add-ons Disabled. menu item. Next, click the Restart button in the dialog box
