Mail.com app
Firefox updated a couple of weeks ago and for some reason the mail.com icon disappeared and I couldnt open it. I turned off the app and then resatored it and the icon is back but it has a little cross on it and wont open my e mails automatically ,I have to sign in every time and it dousent show a no when I have new e mails. It was fine before the update. How do I get it back? I only need the e mail notification not calender etc, I can see that when Im logged on. Hope you can asssist, Thank you, Geoff Andrews.

The add on was from Firefox list of recommended add ons. This only happened when Firefox updated their page last week so I thought it was their problem rather than Mail.com. By Icon I meant the little blue "envelope "that appears on the second line down under the Tab line. When you get an e mail it shows a number in a red square so you know you have messages. but now it just shows a white cross and it wont open e mails. I also have it on my Samsung Tablet and it works fine ,Its just Firefox I have a problem with. Sorry if confusing but I dont know much about computers or the names of all these Icon things.
Thanks, I dont understand much of that, I think Ill cancel the app on here.I couldnt see much difference in the site after the update, They just gave a choice of pretty colours I didnt want anyway.
Unlike what Dropa thinks, people are still welcome to try asking for some help with Extension here to some degree as others may be having the same or similar issues the the extension or similar ones and have found fixes or such. The problem with trying to contact the Extension author (as if that is the only support option) is most Extensions at A.M.O are done by individuals who may not have the time to do one on one support as the extension may have been made in their spare time. However some of the more popular extension authors may have their own community support forums or a support thread on forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=48 as a option.
