Missing arrows from Thread pane in email view

Hello everyone.

The arrows that show when a message has been replied or forwarded (purple arrow for forward, blue arrow reply) have disappeared from my Thread pane.

Is this something that can be turned off/on? maybe I clicked unknowingly a keyboard shortcut? IMAP server issues?

The Status pane still shows this info, but the arrows were much more visual and user friendly.

Start Thunderbird in Safe Mode and see if you still have the same issue. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird

Thanks! In safe mode they're back. I'll start by disabling add-ons and see if any are conflicting.
