I am trying to export emails to CSV using import /export tool. I am able to export the emails but the problem is that the subject gets truncated and email is also not there in the csv file.

Are you exporting from a POP mail account folder or an IMAP mail account folder ?

If IMAP, please make sure you have synchronised folders for offline use in order to get a complete download of email into Thunderbird, otherwise you may only have headers and no actual emails, so the export will not be as expected.
