tabs duplicated all load the same content on every other tab from mail.google.com
As you can see from the screenshots, I wanted to open up a lot of blank gmail login tabs so that I can log in using different accounts after logging out of the first one, I needed to check something on multiple accounts in a quick manner, yes, i know I can use one tab or one window from within the gmail page and log in multiple accounts but that takes an extra step and I have the @domain already set up in the duplicated windows, so this saves time by me just going on and typing the username.. I literally wanted to set up a lot of windows right on the sign in screen but leave it empty so that I can go on the first tab, sign in to gmail account, search for what I needed to using that account, closing tab, typing in username on next tab, sign in, and repeat the process.. but this bug where if I duplicate the mail.google.com page to multiple tabs, if I sign in from the original one or any of the duplicated tabs, all of the other tabs automatically refresh themselves and sign in with the one account I used, again, as you can see from screenshots, clearly a bug, this is not normal..

Please uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 59.0.2 with a Full Version Installer
Also please update your Flash Ver 26 Flash Player Version: 29.0.0.113 Current Version https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ Step 1: Select Operating System Step 2: Select A Version (Firefox, . . . .) Note: Other software is offered in the download. <Windows Only>
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
You have got to be kidding me with your post... I can't believe you are a top contributor..
You want me to uninstall my firefox because of a duplicate tab issue that clearly looks like a problem with ? To run the windows system cleanup? which has NOTHING to do with firefox? To update my flash? wow..
I am sorry but I've been a system admin for more than 12 years and have troubleshooted more systems and applications than most people posting here and your reply sounds like something you would say from a canned response system.
Did you try to replicate my issue and come up with the same problem? If so, did following your steps fix the issue and that is why you are telling me to do it? If not, try not to just send canned reinstall responses as a way to easily brush off issues.
This happens in the mac version of the same build of firefox as well so I know it is an issue in the source code of firefox nothing to do with the users OS or system at all.
This is bug report if no one else has any solution that can be fixed by some about:config changes..

You would probably have to use a lot of containers to isolate all these page from each other if Gmail is detecting those tabs.
Firefox Multi-Account Containers: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/multi-account-containers/
See, now that is a good answer. I tested in Chrome as well, and the tabs are not contained either which makes the same behavior happen. By contain I mean session cookies are not sandboxed.
Thanks.

Glad you were a SyS Admin it shows that we all can get stumped then by issues as you were. As A Support Volunteer comments such as yours do not at time provide enough detail.
There is nothing wrong with a Uninstall as your Profile remains behind. What is replaced is all the folders which could go back as far as Netscape. Which I have no way of knowing. So deleting those folders as a smart way to get rid of any left behind files that could cause problems. As well it takes less than 7mins and you would not know the difference unless it worked. Which you refused to do. As for Ms Cleanup that is there because 3/4 of the people that come here are not Sys Admins and have no idea that that even exists. Since you did not announce your self as a Sys Admin it was included. Replicating Problems why no I did not try to replicate your problem nor did anyone else here try. As for Flash and being told that is out of date it is standard to let everyone know when their Flash is out of date and a security risk. So it has been a pleasure to Volunteer my time to help with your Sys Admin issues. Thank you for contacting Mozilla Volunteer Support.
