We have run virus scans and it doesn't help we get thousands of Mail delivery failed: return message to sender. Please help we can not get rid of it! I also can't figure out how to change our passwords. A computer tech guy ran the virus scans for us and told us it is a problem with the server and we need to immediately change our password.

If they were coming from your account they would be in your sent folder. Spammers borrow email addresses and use it for the return address of the junk they send. There is nothing you can do now to stop it. They will move on to another address soon. Be protective of who you share personal info with and where you post your email address. Changing your password is always a good idea but your tech has not got a clue blaming the server.

Nothing is being sent from our account we have already looked. It says it’s from: mailer-daemon@host.dojosevers.com and To: info@beliefmartialarts.com

The email address it tried to send to was eporcarelli@alice.it (this is just one of many different other emails) no one has sent an email to this person.

Our email address is a business address. So anyone can gain access of it to send us emails. This is why the tech said it is a server problem. Possible with host.dojoservers? If it isn’t with thunderbird.

Also, I can’t seem to find out to change the password.

You do not need access. You just troll around and find an email address and use it for a return address. They have not accessed your account. Google backscatter if you need to know more how it works. It happens every day to someone.

Contact your provider for any further help they may offer. This has nothing to do with Thunderbird.
