Can I install/use Thunderbird email on a Chromebook?
I work remotely and work requires Thunderbird for email. I only have a chromebook. Can I use Thunderbird somehow on a Chromebook?

Why do you need Thunderbird? I've never used a Chromebook, but I'd like to think it has its own email client, just as my Android tablet does.
OK, reading around, I see that the Chromebook is essentially a web browser, so you should be able to do webmail. If your email system doesn't offer a wb page interface, I think you're stuck.
Thunderbird is written and compiled for Windows, Macs and Linux. None of these is compatible with the Chrome OS on the Chromebook. :-(

Some Chromebook's you may be able to dual boot with a Linux distro but it is not as fast.
