How to fetch only emails in INBOX folders.
Due to limited bandwidth and wasted time waiting for hundreds of SPAM emails to download, I would like to download only emails from the INBOX folders. Even deleting them by holding down Delete key is sometimes slow and stalls or doesn't succeed.

What is your account type - POP or IMAP?
Most email provider's offer spam filtering on the server. See if this is available to you. With it, spam messages are pushed to the spam folder on the server and remain there. They don't need to be downloaded to your computer. The flip side is, you'd need to check for false positives on the server every one's in a while.
