My doc files have been stored in temp word files, how do I get them back to word doc, the same for my jpeg files. This happened overnight.
Running Window 7. I don't know how this happened except that Firefox updated. My picture files are not under pictures they are in c/user/Nancy/temp . I don't want them in the temp files, I want to move them back. The only way I can access my pictures is by searching for jpeg files. I am not sure that I had Libraries before the update. Hope this makes sense.

When you download a file, it is saved in the download folder. If you are just looking at it using the browser, it is stored in the temporary folder. And sooner or later, will be cleaned out.
Are you downloading or looking at the file?
Type about:preferences#general<enter> in the address bar. Under Downloads, what are the settings?
